Introduction and Disclaimer

This story is based on two main things. One it is based on some of The Lion King characters, but it follows the version of events created by the person Rinjapine on Deviant Art (her profile can be viewed here; ). Rinjapine's view is that there is more to Mufasa and Taka's mother, the lioness named Uru who is never viewed but mentioned. The events in her comic, The Lion Queen; Trials of the Heart tells Uru's story (it can be found here; ). This story counts more or less as an alternate version (or it might be canon by her standards), but it tells the story of Uru's daughter Waridi and the rest you will just have to read on to know.
